Sabina Yesmin Shimu
About me
With over a decade of experience navigating and shaping corporate culture, Sabina Yesmin Shimu has grown into a self-reliant, confident and influential leader — one who understands how organisations, and the people in them, really work.
She began her career in finance and accounting at Beximco Group and rose through the capital markets — Uttra Finance, Md. Fakhrul Islam Securities, Green Delta Securities and Unicap Securities — before founding companies of her own: Aimer Merchants Ltd. and Infosystem Technology Ltd., and joining EduQuest as Director.
Her core mission is to inspire and grow the number of women entrepreneurs in Bangladesh. She has trained more than fifty entrepreneurs, takes part in youth skill-development projects, and serves on the BASIS Standing Committee on Women in IT.
